RACE School (motorcycles)
RACE is a leader in motorcycle roadracing events organizations.RACE (Racing Associates Canada Events), incorporated as RACE EVENTS INC., is a sanctioning body responsible for organizing motorcycle roadracing events in Canada. RACE was formed in the fall of 1980 with the objective of improving the quality and stature of motorcycle roadracing. It was founded by Shannonville Motorsport Park who recognized the need for a group that specialized in promoting, organizing and aquiring sponsorship exclusively for motorcycle roadracing.

RACE schools are designed for those riders who are anxious to test their skill in organized wheel-to-wheel competition. The RACE riders schools were introduced in 1981 and are the first of their type to be held in Canada, offering both classroom and on-track in-depth instruction. RACE has developed the schools to allow motorcycle enthusiasts a safe and informative opportunity to develop and refine their street riding and racing skills.
Course Description
The RACE rider’s school began in 1981 and was the first type to be held in Canada, offering both classroom and on – track in – depth instruction. RACE has developed the schools to allow motorcycle enthusiasts a safe informative opportunity to develop and refine their street riding and racing skills.
A morning classroom session will cover:

Bike preparation, rider requirements, basic rules and regulations.

Safety lecture concerning Flags & track procedures.

RACE rules and regulations & procedures.
-
Mental & physical preparation.
-
Bike requirements & technical inspection.

Accelerating & braking techniques as well as cornering procedures and crash avoidance.

Students are required to de-brief with their instructors after each track session.
Following the classroom portion of the school, students will join their designated small groups for a track walk with their instructors. After a short break followed by a mandatory riders meeting, the groups will begin their track sessions for the balance of the afternoon. Riders groups are based upon experience, ability, & equipment. Students are required to complete at least 80 % of the school day in order to be eligible to receive school certification.

Option 3: Print a copy of your saved file and print and sign the waiver by hand and mail to the RACE office. It is recommended that the applications be filled in electronically and not filled out by hand except for the waiver signature.
